Who is Doreen
Doreen is an ICF accredited coach (PCC) and facilitator with counselling and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) background. She believes that everyone has a choice to do what they love and live a fulfilling and meaningful life and finds her purpose in empowering her clients to make choices that truly maximise their potential and performance. With her unique blend of expertise backed up by work experience in public and private sector organisations, she supports her clients in areas related to intra-interpersonal issues and leadership development. Examples of industries that she has done coaching and facilitation work include banking and finance, energy, government, pharmaceutical and technology etc.
Outside of her professional work, Doreen loves travelling and learning the lifestyle and cuisine of different cultures. She is constantly looking for similarities to connect and differences to learn.
Experiences and passions
Doreen enjoys coaching executives and leaders to achieve breakthroughs and thrive on challenging changes at various stages of their careers. Adopting a client-centred, solution-focused and non-judgmental coaching style, she partners her clients in a collaborative coaching process of reflection, discovery and taking action towards positive change and sustainable performance. She is also a team coach who is particularly interested in getting teams to be more effective through collaboration and inclusion, instead of operating in silos.
Doreen has more than 20 years of practitioner-based experience delivering learning programmes across Asia Pacific. Adept at working with participants from different leadership levels and multi-cultural backgrounds, she has facilitated in-person programmes in 12 different countries besides her home country, Singapore. She is also skilled in facilitating virtual sessions with global participants using Adobe Connect, MS Teams, Webex and Zoom platforms.
Passionate about learning and development, Doreen has facilitated executive dialogues and leadership development journeys with a focus on impacting participants positively with practical and sustainable takeaways.
