Who is Cornelia

Cornelia is an award-winning Chartered Leadership Psychologist, consultant, and coach, with over 15 years of experience working with senior executives across a range of commercial, corporate, charity and public sector organisations in the UK and Internationally. Her specialisms are in wellbeing, resilience, and Positive Leadership, and she has published research in all these fields.

As a former senior executive and now business owner herself, Cornelia has first-hand experience of the challenges leaders at senior level face. See her recently published book on Positive Leadership.

Cornelia’s approach draws on a particular expertise and interest in developing positive leadership behaviours such as resilience, a strengths mindset, a values-led approach, and emotional flexibility, and uses a range of coaching and psychological methodologies to best help leaders, their team, and organisations in any given moment or challenge.

Experiences and passions

Cornelia has worked as a newspaper journalist interviewing leaders in their field, and as a secondary school teacher in one of the UK’s worst and best schools helping shape leaders of the future. She has worked with leadership development consultancies in the UK and UAE, and lived in Paris, Salzburg, and Buenos Aires.

She has been privileged to see at an academic and business-level what leadership works, what doesn’t, and help influence leadership that has led to extraordinary performance for individuals and teams. She lives with her family in South East London, and enjoys running, reading, and singing (mostly to herself).

Testimonials

I had the privilege of working with Cornelia on her executive training program. Working with Cornelia was a great help in further expanding my skills and experience to take into my new senior role: this training has been crucial to learning further; and creating increased self-awareness on my side, and most importantly giving me the tools to manage situations better. I have loved the sessions and the discussions during the meetings. Cornelia is extremely passionate and great to work with. Cornelia is focussed on positive outcomes but ensuring you get the practical analysis and explanations so that you are able to understand the root of the topic and how to improve going forward.
