Who is Brendan
Brendan is a transformational leadership coach based in Portugal working with clients globally. He believes when leaders do work that is truly meaningful, it leads to higher engagement, improved performance, and success for them and the organizations they work for. He supports his clients in developing the competencies, authentic leadership style, and way of being that enable them to make the impact they want to see in the world.
In his earlier career, Brendan spent 20+ years in various technology leadership positions, driving transformation in multinational organizations. Acting as a change agent, he was instrumental in groundbreaking projects such as a greenfield ERP implementation, and the early adoption of cloud technologies. His passion for team development and personal growth inspired him to transition into coaching full time.
Experiences and passions
Born in Ireland, Brendan has worked in Dublin, London, Sydney and a 13 year stretch in Singapore. He relocated with his family to Portugal in 2022 and continues to value opportunities to learn from cultures that broaden his worldview and his appreciation for diversity. Brendan is an ardent advocate for the role of the body in creating a powerful leadership presence. He draws on his coaching foundations in ontological coaching, and a variety of somatic practices to support his clients to truly transform.
He is a certified health coach and believes that leaders are most effective when they prioritize their physical and mental wellbeing. When not wrestling with his kids, Brendan likes to swim, spend time in the gym, and try things that scare him (like salsa dancing and improv comedy). He has a keen interest in nutrition and enjoys preparing healthy meals with an endless supply of kitchen gadgets.

Testimonials
Brendan is an empathetic, thoughtful, and resourceful coach who has helped me through some challenging professional and personal life transitions. His coaching style and techniques provided me with a safe and non-judgemental space for me to assess my life and what’s important to me. This has given me new perspectives and life choices that were not previously readily apparent to me. If you’re looking to make a change, work through a transition, or reassess what’s important to you, then I would not hesitate to recommend working with Brendan.
