Rob McDavitt

Who is Rob

Rob is an Executive Coach, Leadership Consultant and Educator who has worked at all levels within global companies.  Most recently, Rob was an Executive at Apple where he lead the International Faculty for Apple University, designed Apple’s global Talent Strategy and supported Tim Cook as his People Business Partner.

As a senior-level leader, Rob has been active in the design and shaping of business strategy.  Always working at an international level, he is continually learning how different corporate and country cultures interact, coaching and developing leaders in this space.  Rob is fascinated about how to both enable people to be their best, individual selves while doing their best work in a corporate culture that often challenges aspects of this identity. 

Experiences and passions

Rob has a background in cognitive psychology and is passionate about building and leading global teams.  Rob spent 14 years at Apple, in three different leadership roles. Previous to this experience, he was the Vice President of HR at Expedia and also led international teams in GE and Johnson & Johnson. 

All of this was a bit of a surprise as Rob went to University to become a shark biologist.  He still has a passion for the environment and its diverse ecosystems and lives in the English countryside with his partner and a menagerie of animals.
